This is number 2 of a pair of 45 cal walnut stocked pistols that I am building.
I have 2 different trigger guards to chose from.
One is an english style with a big bow and the other is a smaller style with a much smaller bow.
Both will fit, however the smaller one will mean that I have to cut off the pigs tail at the end of the trigger.
So I decided to ask the forum for advise.
what do you all think?

Definately the bigger one, better balance as stated, and easier to get a finger into. Also that style of pistol, to me, needs the curl on the trigger.

I have to agree. I like the way the bigger one looks, and it will save you having to cut at the trigger.

Nice pistole by the way.

The larger one fits the scale of the gun. I think the smaller one would look out of place.
