CAN"T BELIVE THIS WAS ON HERE LIKE THIS, THE DAY BEFORE DAD WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND ICU HE WENT TO THE BUFF GUN SHOW HERE IN TEXAS, HE FOUND ONE VERY NICE, REALLY NICE ALL DARK BLUE/BLACK 36 FOR $80 FROM A OLDER COUNTRY MAN, IT LOOKS JUST LIKE A THINNER REMINGTON ( THE BRASS 1858 OF MINE) AND HAS LITTLE WEAR AND JUST "WHITNEY AND EAGLE ON IT NONE OF THE PROOFING MARKS MY MADE IN ITALY HAS, IM SURE AFTER 2 WEEKS HE'LL BE HAPPY TO FIND OUT I'VE FOUND OUT SOMETHING THANKS EVERYONE. BLAINE

YES HE DID, FOR 75, I GUESS YOU CANT BEAT THE OLD COUNTRY GUN FAIRS FOR DEALS, IT HAD A LOT OF REALLY OLD RIFLES AND HAND GUNS. I WANTED THE 50 CAL BARRET ONLY 4,500 BUT AS DAD AID AND THE LADY SAID WHERE WILL YOU SHOOT A 2000 YARD RIFLE AT 5 DOLLARS A SHOT. IF DAD HADN'T BEEN SO SICK I BELIVE HE WOULD OF BOUGHT A SHORT LEVER ACTION (LIKE A WINCHESTER) IN STAINLES OR NICKEL TAKE DOWN RIFLE IN 50/90 A ALASKAN SOMETHING. BLAINE
