This is a L-XL sized Whitney bicentennial blue and red stripe Capote. It uses the semi tailored norwester pattern from N.W Traders. This capote was hand sewn by me using simulated sinew, features blue baby alpaca wool yarn blanket stitched edges. The blanket tag has been removed for a more authentic look. This Whitney blanket has been filled and is very thick. I say large to X-Large but your mileage may vary, I am 185lbs 5ft 11 and it fits me with a lot of room. Measurements are as follows; capote overall length 46” long. Sleeve length is 26”. Overall size suggestion on pattern is 42”-44” chest or 175-215 lbs. Price is $265 free shipping to lower 48 states U.S.A. Will accept cash, check, or usps money order. Thanks for looking!

"I am a Whitney blanket " "Original & best" Youl'e never get cold feet with me around your chest"

A poem by Pam Ayres who lived in Whitney and Earlies asked her to write something ,So she did . If she said they never replied ! No doubting the quality though ,
I worked in Whitney in 1963 but that's irrelevant . I drove Pheasants for His Grace the tenth Duke of Marlborough But that is equally irrelevant (Pardon me I' me haveing a Senior moment probably more relevant ) . All strength to your bow.
