thinkin' about stock design ie drop in heel ,thickness at the wrist ... what's the best setup for that long barreled 28 bore??
trade gun,smooth rifle,French,English,American?

I build this simple walunt stocked fowler.28 gage, It's an New England style.
I have a late Lancaster 28 gage smoothbore rifle kit in my basement.A project that is going to be a gift for an old friend.
The barrels are only 42" long. so I don't know if that counts as "long" :hmm:
