I recently traded for poorly started Ohio half stock rifle in .34. It has L&R lock, Davis triggers, premium walnut stock and nice iron hardware. The bore appears to be very finely finished. 8 land and 8 grooves. I would very much like to know who might have made the barrel. I can rule out GM cause the dont list a .34. If any one know who makes such a caliber and perhaps how to ID one I might figure out who made this barrel by processes of elimination.

I always wanted a rifle that would shoot 00 buck and should have this one put together in a week or so.

Any help would be appreciated.

Joe

Could be a Getz Barrel. They seem to be able to custom make any size.

Many Klatch

Getz barrels are stamped, could be an Ed Rayl barrel, he makes whatever you want, just so it's safe. Bill
