Where can I find a supplier of a period correct worm for gun cleaning? I'm trying to assemble a field kit for cleaning in a period fashion at events. Thanks

Cabin Creek has some pretty nice accessories too.

ya can make one yerself if ya want. Take a wood dowel and taper it a bit, try fitting it in your barrel until it slides in just a bit shy of touching the sides. Heat up a coat hanger wire n wrap it around the dowel to the length ya want. Let it cool n cut it to length. screw the worm tightly onto your cleaning rod until it leaves an impression in the wood(sort of like screw threads)this helps to keep it from sliding off when ya put tow around it. oh yea I'm talking about the coil spring style worm iffen ya didn't already know. Not hard to do and each ya make will be better then the first couple. just some thoughts YMHS Birdman

When I get the time I do. The one pic is a combo tow worm/ ball puller. If you turn the tines around it centers the screw into the ball. Not very correct, but the original way was sort of silly in that the screw stuck above the tines.

I have put an add in the classifieds giving all of the info  Thanks!
