Peruse almost any post in this forum and you cannot help coming away with something you did not know. Well, that's fine for this august group, however, why let the rest of the world read plain and simple claptrap, myths, and regergitated misinformation.

There is a place where anyone, with little effort, can set the record striaight. A place where your sons and daughters are increasingly using for homework. Heck, even the mainstream media uses it. I speak of Wikipedia.

Take the entry on mathlocks. It seems about right, though woefully brief. A search for handgonnes and hand cannons reveals no entries. That should not be allowed to stand.

OK, enough said. Let fly, I have my kevlar over hardened steel breast plate. And for those of you who have contributed to Wikipedia, I commend you. Wikipedia/Matchlock
