Any suggestions on mix ratio, patch treatment and short term storage of wet patches. Like 2 weeks or so.

Also, anything else folks like to add, like a touch of Murphys or hoppes?

Also what if anything you do between shots.

Windshield washer fluid is likely going to be 50% to 90% water, some alcohol, ethanol or methanol, ethylene glycol, some detergent and lord knows what "anti-bug-gut" additives.

I wouldn't burn anything with glycol in my firearms as that will likely leave tar or crud.

Why are you doing this?
"Short term storage of wet patches"??
You can put wet patches in a zip lock, or carry a pint of water,,
What's the goal?

nor would I be handling anything with Methanol in it.

Ethylene glycol Was added as a de-icing agent...It is highly toxic...To my knowledge it isn't used any more it has been replace with the more friendly version, Propylene glycol. It has also replaced most antifreezes too so that it doesn't kill dogs and other animals that might lick it up... Propylene glycol is used in things like fog machines, industrial HVAC systems, e-cigarettes, Mio water additive, and other industrial foods....It is also used to de-ice airplanes....

But I'm not aware of it turning to tar..... :idunno:
