Hiya, Not long ago someone presented us with a ramrod wiping stick that had an attachment with a reversible tip. Seems like it was a patch worm \ cleaning jag.I have looked now for two hours and can't find it. Would someone please help this doddering fool out?

I have several of the worms from Dan Fruth, who makes the ones in the link posted by @Brokennock in post #5, above. They are beauties, and very authentic and traditional. You won't go wrong with one of those.

However, we might be thinking about the ramrod tips and worms from The Lucky Bag. I recall these were discussed in a thread on this forum not long ago.

These photos show the ramrod tip/worm combination from The Lucky Bag:

The next image shows his tapered ramrod tip with the female thread:

As mentioned above, Larry Callahan makes tapered tips and worms, and you can also get them from Brad and Shane Emig of Cabin Creek Muzzleloading: Cabin Creek Accoutrements & Tools I believe the tapered ramrod tips are more traditional than the parallel sided or cylindrical ones which are offered by most of the suppliers.

Best regards,

Notchy Bob

Notchy Bob, you have gone all the way for my question. That IS Exactly what I saw earlier. That nice neat rev.brass. Thank you very much. I promise to pay more attention from now on. I start reading these posts meaning to check out the links that I'm interested in but keep on reading then two hours later I'm lost.🤔
Keep the green side up.
John

After viewing that recent post on the Lucky Bag reversible tip I ordered one. Very well crafted. Just waiting to put it on a new ramrod now.
