23 -24 Sept special youth hunt in Indiana. Boy had a choice of guns and it was "my muzzleloader". CVA Bobcat, PRB, and Goex 2f BP. Yeah starting them young. Also a true sportman here offered his lease for a number of young hunters so very good chance my boy will get his FIRST DEER!!!

mwindy,
For sure best of luck to your son. Let
us know how he does, with photos if possible.

I have to read my journals to remember some of the deer I've shot, but that first one comes to mind easily. I can remeber the temperature, the doe, the yearling I shot by failing to lead far enough and the buck that sneaked down the creek bed hidin' in the brush. All in High Resolution! My your hunt be a fine one, lad, best of luck.

Nothing like your kids getting their first deer. My daugher - age 10, got this one last year w/ a .223. We will graduate to a muzzleloader in a couple of years.
