that is larger than some of the deer and antelope I have seen.

Don't have any wolf hunting plans, but I would surely use a minimum of a deer caliber on something that big :shocked2: :)

what would you say that beastie weighed? Also length from nose to tip of tail. That is one honken big fleabag fer sure. No wonder other critters get antsy when ol lobo goes on the prowl.

Well that pic blows the therory of werewolves changing back to human form after being killed. :hmm:

:shocked2: :shocked2: I'm not only getting a bigger gun, I'm going to get a bayonet to glue on the darn thing. :shocked2: :shocked2:

I've got a tag for one of those critters here in Idaho. Can't wait to pop him with a .32!

I would use a 32cm smooth bore for that wolf.  :surrender:

Hawk,
I had that picture come in an email about 6 months ago.Said it was killed somewhere else....Can't remember where now.You know the guy in the picture?

My first impression was that this photo is about as fake as Obama, but I can't find anything on snopes either way.

I have seen that picture somewhere before, however I can tell y'all that timber wolves DO indeed get that big. I think I'll be using my .54 :hmm:

Shot near Gogama, Ontario Canada over a bear bait last week near the water-shed.

July 30, 2009

that was the into that came with the email from a huntin' buddy halftail not sure who the fella is had no reason to doubt it before now.

I found my copy of the picture. I got it a couple months ago and it said the wolf was shot somewhere in Wyoming. The story has been twisted (no doubt repeatedly) but I believe the picture is genuine. :2
