Passen through home OMW to my last two road jobs for the summer. So I helped my wife harvest about 1/2 of the garden.

Must have picked 3-4 bushels of tomatillos, gave a bunch away, but I still have a full row to pick  I may have over planted them a bit.

Been harvesting tomatoes, green peppers, peas, cabbage, green beans, cucumbers, cantaloupe, jalapenos and red peppers. Have loads of acorn, butternut and spaghetti squash plus nine pumpkins, just waiting for the first frost. The grapes didn't do to well this year.

FYI I did dehydrate some tomatillo slices. Wow vary cool  With nothing on them dry they have a vary refreshing light citrus taste. Think dry apples with a lime kick.

Just filled the trays again. soon I'll try cooking with them.

Dried tomato slices crisp dry, are really good too and better for you than potato chips. :)

Just picked a plastic grocery bag full of Cayenne peppers, a bunch of jalapenos and a 1/2 dozen habanaro peppers myself. I'll be chopping some up an canning them tomorrow to make salsa an cheese sauce for chips an dip, an to add to hamburger when I make taco's an enchelada's. My Bell peppers didn't do so well this year they grew small an not well formed. Nice big plants but not good peppers. :(

Had our first two below freezing nights, I have about 18 pumpkins, 25 acorn squash, 10 butternut squash, 8 spaghetti squash, 3 more heads of cabbage a bunch of Santa Fe Grande peppers and jalapenos. Looks like they'll be about 30 or so green tomatoes.
