A close friend of mine grandson is heavy into reenacting civil war , has been nearly 3 years. he is looking for a 1861 that is fireable, with blank loads, does not care about the bore condition, or the outer appearance, as i can help him redo the exterior. He wants a good functioning lock, and nipple preferably. I told him i would post on here and ask if anyone has one to sell. He has about $400 saved up, and might be able to put $500 into one. All replies appreciated.
