I need a blued ROA hammer. I recently purchased a blued ROA and the hammer has severe holes/corrosion on the sides. I don't know if it matters but it was born in 1973.

Try Ebay. They have lots of overpriced, parted out black powder weapons. If all you need is a hammer you may luck out. I just looked, nothing right now.
Ruger may give you a new hammer or you may be able to buy one from them.
You can just give them a call with your serial number. They’ve been very helpful whenever I’ve needed parts replacement or otherwise. At least this way you’ll possibly get a Ruger replacement hammer.
