This is an early, Missouri-made Austin and Halleck Mountain rifle in .50 cal. I purchased this rifle new in-box and have put 5 rounds down it to check accuracy, thoroughly cleaned it, and there it has been in the safe since. Absolutely beautiful, highly-figured stock devoid of more than 1-2 tiny safe bumps. 1:28” twist, with an extra fancy grade stock. Very accurate rifle, printing 4” groupings at 200 yards with 435 gr. conicals if memory serves. Styled after the famous Hawkens of the mountain men, this rifle is hard to beat for looks and ability. Also comes with an extra Austin and Halleck 1:64", .50 cal barrel (no eyelets for ramrod or nipple, but can be swapped from other barrel easily) that I have never mounted, bought from White muzzleloading, also included ~17 Hornady great plains 435 gr. conicals, and around 100+ different saboted .50 cal conicals. Can send my load data for current zero as well. It's one of the most beautiful rifles in the safe and hard to let go, but I found something prettier and she needs an engagement ring. Any more pics ? Also the lock looks canted in the stock is something up with that.?
Thanks
I'll post some more tomorrow morning. Nothing wrong with the lock, all as it came from the factory, and it's never given me a problem. Only thing that's been taken apart on this gun is removing the barrel and nipple for cleaning, every screw is unturned and pin in-place. I'll post a closer photo tomorrow as well.

Added photos as well as one with name and date (thanks for the reminder!). Here're a few more:
