I have received PM's asking questions about this pistol, I think I should mention a few facts about this gun:
This pistol was made in America. It is not an Italian reproduction.
Witloe made a "Lee" model and a "Grant" model, both patterned after the 1858 Remington Army revolver. The Grant model has a steel frame. The Lee model has a bronze frame. It isn't brass as most current production revolvers are.
These Witloe revolvers are collectible and they typically sell for $1000 or more at auction. This is one of the only "brass" style civil war era repros allowed to be used in competitive style shooting such as n-ssa. Thanks.
