CVA Mountain rifle Barrels

Curious, are the 50 cal and 45 cal barrels interchangeable?
I have a 50 and in my quest for a conical rifle I am thinking of finding another barrel and having it bored or sleeved to a fast twist and keeping my 1-66 for PRB.

The Mountain Rifle 45 and 50 caliber barrels should be interchangeable.

CVA had a 'button' tang and a square tang so, as long as their fitment to the tang is the same they should interchange.

I have both 45 and 50 USA made mountain rifles, a couple years ago I was having lock problems on the 50 and tried putting the 50 barrel on the 45 stock, it fit the stock fine but the drum was off a bit to fit the lock.
