That is a long drive just for a whitetail deer. But a stop at the Hill Top Restaurant in L'Anse for a fresh baked Cinnamon Roll would make it all worthwhile.SE Michigan, south of Detroit. Deer hunt North of L'Anse in the UP.
The Huron Mountains are some gorgeous country. Spend a week bowhunting, 10 days firearm, and another week Muzzleloading up there. Camp in a bit north of there....Skanee.That is a long drive just for a whitetail deer

We are expecting 8-14” of snowfall across most of the state over the weekendI'm not a native Michigander, but I lived in Taylor, south of Detroit for 14 years. Mainly hunted in the western U.P. and around Cadillac and Houlton Lake in the center of the state. Retired and moved down here to Tennessee in 2000. I do miss the north woods, but not the snow.
