Took my 4 year old son for his first turkey hunt here in NZ. He got to pick the lucky ball out of the pouch. For those wondering there are no restrictions on hunting in New Zealand other than waterfowl, so shooting this Tom with a 45 prb is fair game. We enjoyed turkey fajitas last night!

Great stuff mate,

Are they north south or both? Are there many turkeys on public land?

I’m an Aussie but hoping to get over next year with my flintlock to hunt. Sorting out powder will be the make or break as I shoot and have loads developed with Swiss.
