Academy has them on the shelf.
You can find them on-line. They ONLY cost @$30.00 more than 'small pistol primers'. This, to me, IS A RIP-OFF! 1000 small primers are running @ $90.00 from a well known out-let.Ok, i will try this and hope the admins don’t go nuts. I quite sure a lot of us have modern guns besides our BPs. I have one (won’t say what). If you think caps were hard to find, i have been searching for large pistol primers for a year. None to be found. I reload my own .44 brass otherwise it’s about a buck a round to shoot. I have been to every website I can think of. Out of ideas.
Any of y’all know where i can get 100 large pistol primers?
Shydas Oudoor Sports in Pa. Has large pistol primers google the name there site will come up. I load Black Powder 44-40 with them they almost always have them I should say.Ok, i will try this and hope the admins don’t go nuts. I quite sure a lot of us have modern guns besides our BPs. The hazmat and shipping is in the retail sales cost.I have found the best deals on reloading components at local gun shows, and no hazmat.
Adam's Muzzleloading near Petersburg had both #10 and #11 the other dayIf you are anywhere near central Virginia I can spare a hundred or so
Just looked at Academy online. It's to see their prices are comparable to mine.Academy has them on the shelf.
In my wildest dreams. You think those are hard to get? Try large rifle primers. The trick is to find an outlet on line that has the primers, caps, and gunpowders that you need in one place....one hazemat fee....impossible!
Thanks for posting. They have several brands of large rifle primers in stock, available in quantities of 100's if that's what's wanted.https://republicammunition.com/pistol-primers-by-brand/cci-pistol-primer/
I order from here all the time
That's where I got my last batch from. Also Ammo Seek is a good search engine for unmentionable ammo and primers. Thanks for posting. They have several brands of large rifle primers in stock, available in quantities of 100's if that's what's wanted.
Not the best prices, but at least they have stock.https://republicammunition.com/pistol-primers-by-brand/cci-pistol-primer/

Good news. I was just over at .22reloader to see about ordering a number 11 cap maker. New product: center fire primer makers. For $129.00 you can now make your own. They've got the instructions right there on the site and everything you need to getcha going.Ok, i will try this and hope the admins don’t go nuts.
