    MINIMUM LOAD

    SOLD CVA sxs 12 gauge

Yup, the same one I just bought off of here a couple months ago. I have some expenses coming up that need taking care of. Bores are clean and measure .712" at the muzzle. I've not fired it, honestly it doesn't look like it ever has been. Asking exactly what I gave for it... $425 shipped.

    Finished my Colonial

Thanks for the nice words, folks... That's kinda what I was thinking. I wanted to see what the wood would look like darkening on its own (mostly). I was going to let the metal just do whatever without outright neglecting it. I might have cheated a little though and wiped some dirty patches on...

    Finished my Colonial

This is my Colonial in .54 stocked in cherry. I was convinced I needed a brass patchbox, so I went ahead and took my best swing at it. I was regretting that decision about 4 hours into the process, but now that it's finished, I like it and I'm glad I did it. I initially wanted to do the dark...

I've got a new Colonial that needs to be fired. I'll take the chronograph along and let you know. I think he was burning Swiss though. I only have Goex and Schutzen.

    Kibler side effect?

Does someone still need to sit at the computer and analyze a couple hundred lines of G- code for hours to make sure the machine will give you what you want and not crash into itself?

Patchbox spring placement & function question

So just to update; along with polishing the mating surfaces of both the spring and the tab, I noticed while holding the lid and finial slightly further forward the lid seemed to have noticeably more inclination to snap shut. So with that in mind I repositioned the spring roughly 3/16" further to...

Patchbox spring placement & function question

I'm wondering if I don't have to deepen the spring's mortise. I think I can get the tip of the spring higher that way actually. Right now it's touching the hinge, I think. Along with polishing the spring, Phil; I suppose it would help to polish and slightly radius the end of the lid tab.
