Had my buddy Cody do a little engraving on 3 of my butt plates. He owns eternity creations in Sulfer Springs Tx and did a great job on them

Nice! BTW, back in the 1980's, there was a "thing" where guys were marking their guns with their Social Security #! Remember that? Eventually someone realized they already had a number on them, the Serial Number. Plus who wants to have their SS out there on a gun someday? It was nuts!
 
It looks nice; also, seems to be easily removed if you ever wished to remove it for sale, or whatever. BTW, I wonder, with modern computer technology, and laser etching, if people could restore a Japanese Mum on the receiver of WW2 rifles, for example, or etch "matching" serial numbers to 'upgrade' a collectible gun? Anything's possible
