I made a Ying/Yang salt & pepper shaker from a deer antler.
The stopper on the salt side is Holly. On the pepper side, Black Walnut.
Large antlers have a spongy interior. So for the spouts, I drilled out the spongy center and glued in a Maple plug. Then I drilled out the center of the plugs for the stoppers.
The shaker holds enough salt & pepper for several meals, or a weekend of camping/trekking.
