Built by Bill Mowrey, this .54 underhammer bench rifle has a 36x1.5 barrel, not counting false muzzle. Scope blocks for full length scope. Single set trigger. The beast weighs a hair over 20 lbs. Nicely figured Maple stock with dished cheekpiece. Brass plate with "The Most Honorable " in script. Bore is excellent. The rifle was probably built in the 1970s before Mowrey started commercially producing his brass receiver percussion rifles. I can't imagine what this would cost to have built today, but much, much more than asking price. $1000 + Shipping.
