I’ve used the musket caps Buffalo Arms has in stock without issue in my M1841, would recommend them.

"The transaction appeared to go through??"

I'm sure the $$ part of the transaction went through but it's possible that's as far as it went. I hope that the deal is legitimate for your sake. Please keep us informed on how it works out as we all would like to find caps at those prices.

You should always google up a review on any site you are not familiar with. A couple of clicks would have informed you that reloading depot has been labeled a scam. Good luck and if you used a credit card it may work out for you. Hopefully I am wrong and you get your caps. Did they charge you a hazmat fee? If not, pretty much a definite scam.

Just bought some last month at The Gun Works ... Now it seems they are on backorder ... Good luck on your mission for ignition ...

Every single place is out of musket sized caps.

I desperatly need a tin or two in order to shoot my Maynard carbine.

Does ANYONE have a source for these caps that are in stock? Or are they a thing of the past?

I see you are in Illinois. If you are anywhere near Lebanon Indiana you might check with Fall Creek Suttlery. They list a couple different brands of musket caps on their site but only sell them in the retail store, or at reenactments (765) 482-1861
