Wondering what kind of groups you are all getting with early zoli mississipi rifles.

So far i can only manage to get 4 inch groups at 110 yards shoots POA.

Current load is .562RB 60g 1.5 swiss, .020 ox yoke patch and german caps.

Same groups are attained with a lee 500g minie.

I don't own one but that sounds like pretty good accuracy from 110 yards, certainly deer killing size.
I certainly hope so. I've only shot minies and haven't done much with PRBs so I don't know what it's limits are at those distances

From what I've seen and done with zoli rifles I'd say thats pretty decent. Don't have the Mississippi but I've got a zouave and buffalo hunter.

Both shoot tight round ball loads well, a .575 ball, .018 patch and 80 grains 2f. Neither one likes 500 gr minie that great and i have 3 sizes to choose from. Although both shoot the 315 gr wad cutter minie quite well.

I can manage 2-4 inch groups at 100yd with those loads from a bench, as long as i do my part and the stars are in alignment 😆

That's good to hear the results are similar. Trying to bring my .408 swiss muzzloader on target is proving tough so the zoli it is
My experience with a Zoli Zouave is similar. I think 4” is pretty decent for that. At 110 yards with open sights I’d be happy.
