Custom left Hawken. Clean gun. Maybe a couple light handling marks. Figured maple stock. Unknown barrel for sure. But I would say it is most likely Douglas or green river. Based on the lock used. Lock is a Ron Long. Marked Denver. Barrel is 50 cal. 1” across flats. 32 1/2” long. Double set triggers. Length of pull 13 1/4”. Gun weight is 9 pounds on my postal scale. Ask any questions of interest. Prefer PMs. Price 1400$ shipped in 48 Now 1300$ Shipped in 48

Just a matter of giving it some time. Especially as a LH. I doubt if Long made very many LH locks. He also made some excellent barrels but not on a large scale. Looks like a high quality bit of work. Possibly the gun was made by Ron Long.

Very-Very Nice rifle ! I understand that only around 10% of the population is Left Handed.
I raised a Left-Handed shooter and it seems you can never find a LH gun when you are looking. Go figure.

Thanks,
O.R.
I have a lefty shooter in my life and I can’t get her excited about BP no matter how hard I try, 😢. And her birthday is in two days, I wish I could get her something like this. Just gorgeous…🤤

It’s especially hard because so many fine LH BP guns end up with exceptional price tags as the market is so narrow they seem to be hard to move in a timely fashion. Such a cruel cosmic joke. Makes me wish I was wrong handed 😂 .

13 1/4 to front firing trigger. All Metal is more a deep dark browned than blue. RD ball twist in Douglas. Was I believe 1/66. Im away from home for a few days. I can check the twist when back. As I listed there are no marking on the barrel. Other than 50 on top flat
