Hello all,
I have a couple of "Want to buy" postings. I recently received a personal message on one of them offering to sell me what I was looking for. Great price but the person was new, no feedback. I asked for more info to screen out scammers. Seller offered to sell me the gun at half price and ship to me, and then I would pay the balance. That was a new one. I guess the seller was willing to scam me at half price. Person also had great pictures of the gun. I did a little investigation and found the exact same pictures on another website from 7 years ago. Just another FYI about possible scammers. Be careful out there.

Didn't get that far. When I started asking for detailed info on him, he went silent. For those who post legitimate Wanted ads, beware, there are a ton of scammers out there and very clever in their tricks. If the deal looks too good, it isn't.

I hesitate to mention specific names, on the chance I might be mistaken. Suffice it to say, be very cautious. I believe a legitimate seller will be willing to provide whatever a buyer requests to insure a good transaction.

When I first came on board, I had two offers. Both were scams. One I picked up pretty quickly.
" Hon, I have a nice revolver, you can do Zelle if you want sweetie"
The other it took me awhile. I told Meriwether and he checked him/her out. Then all corresponding ended. I asked Meriwether and he told me he booted them.

There are "BAD PEOPLE" out there. If the deal looks too good then 99.99% of the time it is a scam. I no longer buy stuff from online individuals. "Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires"!o_O
