our deer season here in SC is a long one i guess compared to other states. on private land aug15-jan1 i have hunted here all my life in the blazing heat and have killed hundreds of deer in my 67 years. but this year i made my mind up not to hunt till it cooled off. well i held back a little, i have only went 3 times. nothing to shoot yet. i have a couple of good ones i am after. here is one that was on one of my places this morning when i checked the camera. i have another that is a 5 point about the same as these 7 point. but you see what time they come out, after i am home, LOL, this is all i want for Christmas this year,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Good luck olskool. They know when it’s safest to come out. I have a couple of nice ones doing the same thing here. Trail cam proves it.

That's a good one, good luck! Here, we're a couple of weeks away from our October antlerless muzzy season and our buck season (with any firearm) isn't until after Thanksgiving.

Good lookin’ bucks in my opinion. Best of luck with them. Still about a month out for ML season here in Tennessee.
November 9 for muzzleloader/archery, which means every weekend twixt now and then there will be every bozo and his brother at the ranges trying to sight in their plastic stocked, imitation muzzleloaders with two or three pellets of imitation powder.

life is good being a rednex in the woods with a 100 yd. shooting range in my back yard. and the 100 ackers i hunt on, i am the president of the club and it's only member. i let my buddy hunt because he is one of my best friends and helps me with anything i need night or day, in the good times or in the bad,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Easy now! I shoot that imitation powder too, just not in pellets. 😁 I kinda like shooting with the in-line guys. Drives them nuts when you shoot as good or better than they do.

Yeah,I know! I’ve done it too!🤣

Nice. I live seasonally in upstate SC (snowbird from Pennsylvania), but have yet to hunt deer there. I also have 100+ acres here at home in PA, so I take at least one deer per year here and haven't yet felt the need to hunt them in SC, not to mention that I don't have private property to hunt there (though I do have a few friends and think I could probably get permission somewhere). Good luck, hope you tag one of the nice ones.
