What to do woth patches when cutting at the muzzle?

Just keep using the strip till it’s used up. 
I mostly use precut, however the best idea I think I saw was tied in a simple half knot on the strap. And slid up and down the strap as needed

I have cut a button hole in the end of the strip and buttoned to my shirt at muzzle height. No button? Safety pin

.I have a few thongs on my bag shoulder strap, Just tie a strip to the thong and replace when used up.
I tie to my bag strap. When used up I discard.
