This antique Left-Handed .38 halfstock rifle needs a little more work to get on the line. Someone got most of the way on the rebuilt lock, but not quite. Lock won't catch at all in mortice and only gets to half **** out. Needs some metal removal. The 33.5"x1" barrel has a 1:66ish twist. The bore has some tenacious old grease and needs a serious scrubbing. Well defined rifling, but likely some pitting in grooves. Maple(?) stock with inlays. One missing. Patchbox will not stay closed. LOP is 14.75". Rifle weighs 9.4 lbs. Good project for someone who has the time and patience. $300 + Shipping.
