Out of surgery! Woke up talking about patch thickness, nurse kept saying, what? What? Spine fixed with bolts. I be sneaking thru the wildwood in no time dragging expired carcasses. Thanks for support.

Bud glad you are ok, I had 4 back surgery know how it is.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I been hearing about the PT. I figure it can't be worse than what brought me here.
That really depends on the therapist. My wife had her right knee operated on by one of the top surgeons in the country. She was referred to a physical therapist, who told her to do a stair step machine until she could not do any more. Well he didn't realize that she takes things literately and he forgot about her. When he finally checked on her she had re-injured her knee and her surgeon was not happy with the therapist.
Fast forward about 30 years and she had to have a right hip replacement and once again referred to different physical therapist. That one was incredible and had her back on her feet in about two weeks, without any pain.

Good to hear, hard as it might be, do what they tell you to do. 6 years since my back was fixed and it is still good as old. Amazing what they can fix now.

Postpone any marathons for a week or two at least; longer is even better. And pumping iron should be the very last on your list. Heal quickly and don't overdo it.
