This vintage halfstock. 36 percussion rifle appears to be made from a combination of antique and modern components. The lock, stock and fittings appear to be antique. The backaction lock marked Neff and Brothers Warrented. The 28.5", 1:48ish barrel is either contemporary or has been rebored. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Flat bottom grooves.Top flat stamped J.R. BRUMFIEL. The Tiger Maple stock has German Silver patchbox. LOP is 13 7/8". Rifle weighs 7.3 lbs. $400 + Shipping.
