Greetings. I'm not really new to MF, but I cannot access my previous account. So, here I am as a new member. I am located in east Texas, and became interested in our local history. The site of the first Spanish mission in east Texas (1690's) is located a few miles down the road from me, and the northern route of the El Camino Real passes through my property. Have built a Spanish escopeta (flintlock shotgun) from The Rifle Shoppe parts, and assorted other projects. Don't do much living history stuff anymore, but could be enticed into doing more as time permits. So, there ya go.

Welcome back from Maine.

Greetings, sir. I've only visited Maine once. Looking forward to doing so again.

My wife and I chased raccoons through a (empty) campground in our skivvies during a nighttime thunderstorm to retrieve our stolen cookware in Maine. Long story.
