....and my pair of Teal. I loaded with 1 1/4 ounce scoop full of 3F, 2 communion wafers, 1 1/4 ounce scoop of #5 Bismuth and another communion wafer. I hit these two Teal and missed two Gadwalls. Good morning!

We normally have a ton of teal up here in ND, this year there were very few, I literally didn’t see a single blue wing teal the whole 3 weeks I was duck hunting which is super unusual, usually you pass them up as you could shoot a limit in minutes and they aren’t as good to eat as most.I shot a few green wings though which I think are the best tasting duck hands down. I saw very large numbers of pintails but you can only shoot one a day so didn’t do us much good lol. We still managed lots of limits of ducks just not as good as it normally is. I hope to use my kibler 16ga next year. I already bought the bismuth 3.5 shot for it and I haven’t even received the kit yet lol. Here’s some pintails and mallards I smoked the other day. Good hunting!

I wondered where you were going, given your thread title @Sparkitoff. Clearly - church! A great result; probably because your shot cards are wafer thin ;).

Nicely done,
Pete

Geese on one hand taste like💩 but duck cooked by someone who knows what they are doing outstanding .oh not all geese snows and blue bellies taste good canadas uh uh no good .thanks for sharing your ducks are making my mouth water .

Snows and Blues and Speckle Bellies I make goose poppers and or smoke’m on the pellet grill. Wood Ducks and Greenwing Teal I eat the whole duck! They are really good smoked too! Canada’s I tend to strip the breast out and make jerky strips. Really good eating as jerky but not any way else. At least that has been my experience! Now I am hungry! Oh, and the feathers from woodies make excellent crappie jigs!

Snows get a bad rap, I think the are delicious breasted out and treated like skirt steak. We marinate them in fajita marinade for 24 hours and grill them up, so good! My pastor goes with me waterfowl hunting a lot so It’s the greatest church ever, surrounded by gods glory!!
