I'm wondering whether or not to throw a bid on it. Thanks.
I'm just looking for a decent shooter in the same caliber as my Hawken to shoot in my backyard.
Thanks! Dan

It's a Kentucky. Should be a good shooter for your stated purpose. What do you plan on bidding?
Thinking around 150 ish. I'm watching a couple others, but that's the first one off.
Watching an Investarm Lymans plains pistol too.
Any idea which one has a better lock and trigger?

I have a lyman plains pistol and it shoots very well and I can almost golf with it after shooting

The problem is, the CVA goes off first. I'd rather have the plains pistol, but if the CVA goes cheap, I can't pass it up.
That's how I ended up with a 99 dollar cva Hawken that needed 30 bucks in parts ( nose cap, lock screw, drum screw) aaaand an investarm hawken made for Richland Arms that came with a nice leather sling. The gun itself is very nice, bluing perfect. Since it really isn't period correct, comes with rubber butt pad, I'm putting Williams fiber optics on it for my old eyes.
I think I got that one for 175. Plus taxes and shipping but still....
