My mom was deep into Civil War living history, so much so that she learned tatting and bobbin lace and was internationally known for her work. Her impression was of an elderly lady circa 1860. She passed about 10 years ago and dad wouldn't part with anything for any reason. Well, he's gone now as well and my daughter has no interest in living history. So I'm letting these items go hopefully to someone who will value them for both being handmade and period correct for 1860s. There are 3 shawls, a snood and fingerless gloves. Message me and we'll talk.

And a pic of her teaching and passing on the skills to some young ladies
