Your Fowler should arrive in a very well built, sturdy wooden box.when I purchased my Woodsrunner, the barrel and stock were separated by styrofoam dividers and the lock and screws and such were in a baggie and hot glued to the lid. The box itself most likely cost around 100$ including labor to build it. I kept my box and reused it later.Don't worry. Kibler doesn't ship their guns like that box pictured. In fact, you'll be amazed and be posting here like you've never seen the like.
Yep, Jim and team do a great job of packaging with a quality container, etc.
I made the FedEx driver wait while I opened that box and examined the contents. As I was doing that, he was reciting the horrors of what he has seen at the FedEx loading facilities in how workers there throw...literally throw...packages around. Heavy stuff thrown on light stuff, etc. What is wrong with these shipping companies?!

I have good friends that work at UPS and FedEx. Both of them have told of the 'games' that are played with packages, especially those labelled 'Fragile' or 'Breakable'. Seems those are key words to initiate a toughness test of the packaging. If it shatters or otherwise exhibits damage, the shipper is branded as having No pride of workmanship.
We're back in junior high detention hall folks - except there are no consequences for bad behavior !
I think this is a major reason why Kibler packs their guns as they do. Survives the detention kiddies' games.
Sometimes they're extremely persistent and even Jim's magnificent boxes are no match!

Thier system is as jacked as they are. Hope it shows up out of the blue on your door step. I've got 2 packages for unmentionables that made it to the main hub in my state over a week ago and are currently bouncing around somewhere between limbo and purgatory. Last order took 12 days after I foolishly paid extra for 3 day priority.
Well, now it’s back to the facility it was at on the 29th. So maybe it’s back on track.
USPS tracking is in and of itself a form of entertainment.

A few days ago, the UPS facility in Athens, Tennessee burned down. Officials say there weren't many packages there at that time. Uh, okay.
Don't worry Mayor Pete will get on it, after he handles the supply chain and baby formula issues!
USPS and UPS are the best in my area. FEDX is absolutely horrible. I'm waiting on a package that has been out for delivery for 3 days according to tracking but goes back every evening as undeliverable address and I've lived here 30 years. FEDX also will leave packages outside the porch in the weather and out at our garage in the drive as they turn around which is 100 ft from the house. Thank goodness we have good neighbors!
