I found it to be a PITA to remove the cap, place a primer and replace the cap. On an UH it would seem to be pretty cumbersome.
I’m wanting to experiment a little…maybe alter the Magspark…and or my hammer adding a removable firing pin…I’m use a musket nipple now to ignite T7 but RWS 1081 caps are impossible to find…and those reenactment caps are consistent hangfires
Agreed about the RES caps. I have found standard CCI'S to be reliable and similar to the RWS'S in performance.

This showed up today ….unfortunately what ever was in this small plastic bag is not in there and appears to have made its way outside of the torn envelope…I appreciate you taking the time to send this but I have an empty torn envelope .

Chalk up another Postal Service story....
i believe only paper is supposed to be in an envelope like that as they go through rollers and small items get jammed up. may be wrong .
