Got my war shirt all sewn up. Next is cutting the fringe. I also put a welt in every seam. I got a tall order in at crazy crow for some black red and white pigment leather paints, horse hair scalp locks, elk teeth, red padre beads, and a rosette all to decorate this shirt with… Oh and a real whitetail deer tail to sew on the back. It’s your shirt but I’d keep it plain with the fringe, get some age and weather on it and it would look great. Just my two cents.

Tried my hand at forging today. Took a class in Lebanon, PA. Nothing was created that really related to our time period here, but I learned a lot.
Hope to do it again and get some more knowledge. It certainly made me appreciate fine craftsmanship more, though I don't know that forging is my skill set.
