Sunk the toeplate in my junk Gemmer kit stock...personally...I'm glad I don't have to use this wood. I'm following Bob Woodfil's video.

Since the previous thread was shut down (locked) by our new moderator, I thought I would start one up again, as per the suggestion.
So, let's get this thread going again, and share your muzzleloading related adventures of the day!
Browned and buffed back some metal parts on a pistol build. Went and checked\reset some beaver sets with my son this morning if that counts lol.

Not sure if it counts or not but ordered a new Jeep to carry all my muzzleloading and camp stuff to and from my c

that's one of my favorite vehicles. always wanted one but just didn't have the coin lol. Hope u post pics of it when u get that baby.

Track of the wolf. Not sure where they get their stocks from but it looks great.
Other than the barrel channel and ramrod hole there are no pre-cut inlays.
Should be a fun winter project.
Track gets them from Pecatonica River they told me. That’s a good way to get a stock - partially inlet for only barrel and Ramrod. Have fun 👍🏻

I finished up Horn 74 this morning. It’s kind of a Benchmark horn for me by way of color and design.
I went with a “Folk Art” theme as I got into engraving it. I had no “MasterDesign” in mind but just winged it and let things develop on their own. I eventually used just three basic color inks: Black, Brown and Red. I sometimes blended them as I applied them with my pen, and slightly rubbed in together at times for shading.
This is somewhat of a new direction I feel I am going with my horn decoration and I do like it.
