We collectively owned a substantial vacation property on a private land with limited access via a single road. Everyone was acquainted with one another. However, we frequently encountered individuals attempting to trespass on our property. To mitigate this issue, the elderly gentleman residing at the end of the road would strategically position his vehicle to block the exit whenever someone approached. The elderly man had previously informed the game warden of his intention to place a bag of corn on his property to attract wildlife, specifically turkeys and deer, while clearly stating that he did not intend to hunt. The warden acknowledged this arrangement, noting that it was permissible only during the elderly man's presence and with the explicit understanding that no hunting would occur. Although there was some ambiguity regarding the presence of chickens on the property, the warden did not object. Subsequently, an anonymous caller reported the elderly man for allegedly baiting wildlife. In response, the game warden contacted the elderly man, commending him on his clever tactic, as the individual who had been sneaking onto his property had inadvertently reported themselves to the authorities.

I was operating an all-terrain vehicle.

The warden arrived at my residence due to my ride. The same occurred with a snowmobile. I should share that experience. Lol. They arrived at our house and inspected everything, including registration stickers. I asked if they had caught anyone speeding. He replied that he was only checking registration stickers, which he couldn't see. He advised me not to put myself in harm's way. I had passed him at nearly 100 miles per hour on my new sleds, an Apex and a Nitro. I'm unsure why I did so. Since the warden was already trailing us and my companion in front wasn't slowing down, I assumed I would evade trouble. My primary concern was avoiding trouble. The warden remained 100 to 200 yards behind us. I jumped over the road before a truck cut us off. The experience was exhilarating. Then we swiftly departed. We returned home, and shortly thereafter, the authorities arrived.

While operating the ATV, I managed to escape. I saw him and promptly left. I was riding a Yamaha Grizz. My friends, however, were not as fortunate and received citations. I had been waiting at the house when he approached, coming up the road in front of everyone in a line, seemingly intent on speaking with me. As a result, everyone received tickets for failing to stop at the road, although I did not receive a citation. The officer subsequently stated that he was familiar with my ATV, a green Yamaha Grizz, and warned that he would be monitoring for any incidents. I found it amusing that we had all been speeding across the road without stopping, and he had been watching. For some reason, I accelerated and fled. My friends, however, were either caught or cut off, resulting in the citations.

They showed up. One individual had to transport all the fish caught out of state for fishing purposes. They arrived at the residence due to one person and simply stated that they would take all the fish caught or enter the house. Those individuals all apologized to the guy, stating that all the fish belonged to him. They had instructed the guy not to return to the same fishing spots, but he continued to go back and forth. They did inform him to stop, explaining that these fishing spots are stocked and monitored. However, he did not believe that.

You went fishing ounce a day where I was. just because the car truck alone rats you out...

You just can't hide. That you went fishing. Unless your not keeping.

Lol.. you need a Different car everywhere you go.

The fishing..

I watched to much of that. And warden.

I grew up near a herring run... I've seen to much there.
Allot of people do get away. They do.. but the ones that get caught.

Last time I was down that part of the river there was nothing going on.

Just one Spanish guy risking using the herring.

I had a guy asking me asking me all day.

Can I have fish..

I was no it's undersized and I was fishing for myself. All day everything short of a keeper.

Ruined my whole day being asked.. can I have fish every time I got one.

He got one finally. It looked under size he did not measure anything.. he wrapped it up. Put it in his backpack. Walked up the trail to see a warden.

If you didn't know..

If I gave him any one of those fish. It would have been me that was busted.

I was happy to see him get caught that day.

I use to tell my friend. Old man to fish with me there. That I catch them.

He was old. He said he knew that spot. It's a warden in there he said.

I was like yea I know.

The herring run They altered fishing practices there. I had to fish there more frequently as a result. A specific spot there, marked by a tree, was particularly appealing because I knew fish were present. I was determined to catch one without using herring. It was an enjoyable experience. I crafted a fly rod and attempted to catch one with it for a year, ultimately succeeding in catching a small one. The eel proved to be an effective alternative. Catching herring with ease, with nearly every cast, was a unique experience and a fun challenge. I am undecided as to which method I prefer.

They are not familiar with the English language. They seem to be unaware or feign ignorance. Sometimes, I perceive them as clueless. No fishing license. The list goes on. It was easy to find those issues, as the situation was chaotic. I was displeased to see them, as owners of the establishment, engaging in such behavior. When fishing in their vicinity, conversations often ensue. They mention not feeling free and express a desire to return home. I am uncertain about their sentiments. Individuals from other countries fishing here face challenges understanding the rule book. Fishing education classes would be beneficial for them, as the fishing laws can be complex. I feel sympathy for them, as they often hail from countries where fishing is a common practice.

I'll give it to Brazil people.. they talked more about it.

They use to tell me to move there. They said that I'm fishing everyday. Don't live here.

A Brazilian family resides across from my house. I must admit that I am not fond of eating bluefish, but I do enjoy catching them. It's possible to catch a substantial number of them, up to the designated limit, and fill a cooler. This family not only appreciated the fish, but also hosted a party. Despite my initial reluctance, they insisted that I attend. I was hesitant to eat the bluefish, but I ended up consuming the entire fish to avoid appearing impolite. Furthermore, it's challenging to decline an invitation to watch a soccer game at the party, despite my lack of interest in the sport. However, they do provide food. I recall being present with a cooler full of bluefish, cleaning them, and commenting that I had no intention of eating one. My friend, who had assisted in catching the fish, found the story amusing. He mentioned that it was a pleasant experience, as he had previously given fish to friends and acquaintances without receiving an invitation to dinner in return.

Driving with it, you worry about receiving tickets from law enforcement. Parking with it, locals may become jealous, potentially encroaching on their spot. Who knows what may happen. I didn't obtain a Maine plate, but people were more interested in my Michigan plate, which helped facilitate interactions. Having a Massachusetts plate here is not advantageous in NH or ME.

I had a Massachusetts plate in Michigan for a short time. Locals were friendly; the hardware store owner mentioned that they recognized me, which was advantageous. Being there without numerous hunters from various areas was a positive experience; I arrived early to avoid the crowds. Interestingly, simply driving into town to hunt was enough for locals to acknowledge me.

Scare them hah. We're talking Neanderthals here. These people look like Humongous's crew from the Road Warrior movie. I'm ashamed to say I suspect some of them are my own family.

I got an idea.

Find non res hunters to give permission to hunt..

you can call. They can call. You have them watching it with you.

How much land you got?

You get it.

To far for me but not.
Id have to ask my friend. I like the look of the public land in that state.

I would hunt public and camp out on that property. Place to stay.
