Does anyone have a source for one of these? I have a new to me musket on the way and am looking for all the accoutrements. I've found several sources, but I'm not sure if they will fit. The Miroku have the lug on top.

My Miroku has the lug on the bottom, and it's a pretty tight squeeze with the ramrod. I'd just want to be sure you get the right one for yours.

Just ordered one from G G GODWIN.
Post an update when you get it. I bought a Charleville sling repro from them. They have a U.S. retail and online presence, but my experience is that my shipment originated outside the U.S. (Australia, if I recollect right) and took quite a while to get here.

It showed up yesterday along with the sling I ordered. It's a little loose. I'm trying to figure out the best way to give it a little squeeze without screwing it up. I have another post about cleaning the gun up. How did you polish yours wiscoaster?

...... How did you polish yours wiscoaster?
Sorry, don't remember specifically what my Miroku needed - I don't think it was much - probably just starting with Brasso then finishing with Mother's would be my usual for something that doesn't need filing or sanding.
It showed up yesterday along with the sling I ordered. .....
Did you get the white leather sling? Mine was short two holes on the back end where it attaches to the trigger guard sling loop, and I had to punch another two holes so I could tie it in the "PC" criss-cross manner: (pic pilched from online - not my gun):

lol, I was looking at the McGuire's in my garage. So far just used a buffing wheel on my drill and polishing compound. It's not as shiny as yours, but I don't want to be blinded by it either.

Interesting, my sling is completely different. All holes accounted for though.

The bayonet was a bit loose fitting. I gave it a few squeezes in my vise & it's better now, but can still slide a bit. Any suggestions for a better fit?
