    Can't report on the stopping power but-----I fired my brand new Pietta Navy 36 today for the very first time at around one pm. It's close to five pm and I still can't wipe the gigantic smile off my face. By the way, this was my first time shooting black powder. OOHRAH!

    Back in the day when we all carried .38 special solid lead bullets as duty ammo, I faced a guy in a dark alley pointing a gun at me. I fired twice. The coroner said he was dead before he hit the ground. The double tap is good life insurance.

    I ordered a package of wonder wads. When it arrived, I found the ziplock bag holding the wads had a large slit on the corner spilling the wads all over the package. I want to know if this will affect the wads, ie: drying out. Are they still useable? Eric

    Went to the Carson City Sportsman's Warehouse. Asked the gun counter guys about percussion caps. They both laughed and said they hadn't seen any for at least a year.
