    Traditional ML'ing on the rise?

Thanks to the Internet I can get the supplies I need. (Just spent over $100 ordering Swiss powder.) I seem to be the only one at my rifle/pistol range that uses black powder and I feel that I am of the isolated fringe that you spoke of. The feeling I get is that they are more afraid of the...

I used to use Goex (its very good), but I switched to Swiss 2F(supposed to be better) and I use it in everything, even in my revolver (LeMatt).

    Interesting Cleaning instructions.

I remove the nipple and the barrel from the stock. I see no wear. I never tighten screws too hard, just an easy hand tighten. It's a lot easier to clean when everything is split up. All I use is hot water and bore butter and everything is nice and clean, no rust ever. :youcrazy:

    Loading a flintlock

I load like in the drill books. I bite the cartridge, prime, pour down the barrel, and follow it with the ball in the wrapper. So that I dont blow up I have a leather frizzed guard on the frizzen.

    Simple ? for you Gurus

I can't get that musket out of my head. I prefer my Charleville over the Bess because it is lighter. The even lighter Tulle appeals to me even more. Lol, looks like its time to sell the Bess.

    Simple ? for you Gurus

I went to that link, the Tulle is very nice. If I didn't already have a Charleville or was looking to expand my collection I would get one myself.
