Newbie - Just ordered a Lyman Trade Rifle
Hey Tarheel, Not a bad choice there. I have a Lyman trade rifle that I got from a pawn shop, used, for 80 bucks. stock finish
I built a bastard Fusil with a walnut stock. Stained the stock with jacobean stain and finished it with Bore Butter, beeswax and elbow grease. Easy peasey, and when I clean the gun I just rub more bore butter on the stock.- nj1639
