    what happened????

It was the only way to keep the hardcore traditional shooters from picking fights in the inline section. Claude had to choose one group over the other and inline shooters lost. We should respect Claude's decision. Just look at Halftail's post to get an idea of the attitudes involved.

    Boresighting

I reread his posts and didn't see the words "traditional muzzleloader" or "period correct" used even once. You interjected that part and then made your usual commentary. Maybe he just enjoys shooting his muzzleloaders and wants to have a different sighting system. I still think it's a nice...

Need help choosing a muzzleloader (Part II)

    Sunday Hunting?

I pay roughly $65 a year for a years membership in the local gun club. That officially includes 2 children and un-officially includes my wife (when I can get her to the range; which is not often). There is no per-day fee and over 50% of the time I have the 100 yd. rifle/35 yd. pistol range to...

Thanks for the helpful replies. I've been shooting rifles and pistols for 20 years, but this will be a new experience. I'll post again after shooting it this weekend.

Advice needed on BP measure use

I'm new to muzzleloading and have a question about measuring the powder. When pouring the powder (Pyrodex RS) into the measure, do I fill then settle the powder by tapping the measure then topping it off or use it unsettled?
