    thank you for all your help. i have not bought one of them yet. but might take a ride there tomorrow and get one. wish i could get two but one is all i can afford now. i have a guy interested in my knight inline. if he comes up with some cash soon i just might buy more.

    i had a CVA bobcat years ago. it was fun to shoot.i don't think i ever used more than 80 gr in it, i never shot it with round ball. would i need to use patches with round ball the plainsmen ? if so what size patch ball size combo?

    i was in a gun shop today they had about 5 CVA's i think one said plainsman two were all brass trigger guard single trigger. the rear were case hardened locks the all looked pretty much the same except for the brass. two had barrels 3" shorter than the other CVa's any how a few looked pretty...

    is it ok to remove a breech plug ? i had a CVA bobcat or deer hunter some years back . it said with the paper work i got with it said do not remove the breech plug. i sold it and the guy that bought it said he removed the plug to do a better job cleaning it than i did . it had some surfer...
