    T/C Hawken Rebarrel.

I was in the same situation with a bad bore. I got this particular T.C. Hawken for a song. I redid the stock and brass. I shot it a good bit but the best it's tired ole neglected barrel would do resembled a shotgun pattern instead of a group. I gave it to Bobby Hoyt in May and told him no...

    buying flints

I ordered 3 dozen flints from Mr. Pierce on March 17. He had 30 dozen ahead of me. Today June 17 I have never received my order to date. He must be very busy. I ordered from TOTW and received excellent English flints in 3 days. They work great in my older CVA Hawken. My new T.C. Hawken is...

    50 cal hawkins woodsman

Hawken is new so it should have the better lock and vent liner. I ordered 2 dozen flints from Mr. Pierce so hopefully I'll be trying...

    Flintlock Hawken

Were there many original flintlock Hawken or Plains rifles or were they most all percussion? Just curious. I recently bought a new T.C. Hawken at a very good price. I have been shooting percussion guns since 1976 but this is my first flintlock. I have a lot to learn. All info or advice is...
