Ever let one go That you Should have Kept? (p1853 Enfield)

Feel Free to share. This is one p1853 Enfield. Mix of Military and civilian parts, but stock was mint for its age with a great bore. Still kicking myself for letting it go.

Cimarron 1860 "McCulloch Colt" or antiquing a 1860 Army Uberti

Cimmaron does / has custom finishes. Pre COVID you had alot more options than you do now. This is one i did let go, when you could order with antique finish straight from Cimarron (1851 Navy). Ill save the rest for another eye candy thread.

Sadly no, it goes down after 2 or 3 shots. To me its part of the experience ... the walker experience. The most reliable percussion wheel gun for me is the good ol Remington Army.. thats just runs. The cool factor for the Walker and the lines of the 1851 & 1860 can't be beat though.

Yes if you have experience with antiquing and you know what you are doing. I should also say i bought this prior to the pricing jump. Ie sub 500 shipped in 2015.

Colt Second Generation 1851 Navy - Missing Accessories

For me it doesn't have to be 100% authentic and complete, I would be happy just as a place holder ie a current manufactured flask, a place holder for caps ie Remington 10s or 11s. My main concern is the tool / ball caster that would fill the role. Part of me wants to get it together the other...
